This shirt, which I snagged last summer at Goodwill, always leaves me longing for the beach. As much as I wanted to pair this tunic with a pair of shorts, flip-flops, and a beach towel, I kept it practical and office-worthy with white gauchos and summery sandals.
I didn’t let the everyday outfit keep me from a beachy breakfast, however. My tropical oatmeal smoothie was better suited for lounging on the beach with a novel than sitting in front of my computer desk. Hopefully I will get a vacation soon, but for now, paradise must wait.

I love it! I am what I am calling and “Oatmeal Streak!” I will be eating oatmeal for lunch or breakfast everyday. Your recipes fit in really well! I already tried your overnight recipe for today’s lunch and loved it! Thanks for sharing everything. 🙂

Depending on personal preference, you may want to soak the oatmeal in the milk overnight to make the texture a little less “raw.” Be sure and tell me how it turns out!
