Top Ten Tuesday: God’s Word

17 - Bible Verse


God has given His children a bountiful garden of truth to be gleaned.  When I started listing my favorite verses, I realized that it was going to be impossible to limit myself to only ten.  If I was to remake this list tomorrow, I would likely choose different verses because I would have different needs to be fulfilled.  However, these ten seem to be continually in my mind.

Top 10 favorite Bible Verses

1. Exodus 14:14

You only need to remain calm; the Lord will fight for you.

2. I Thessalonians 4:3a

This is the will of God, even your sanctification.

3. Philippians 4:11b

I have learned to be satisfied with the things I have and with everything that happens.

4. Philippians 4:8

The sacrifice God wants is a broken spirit.  God, you will not reject a heart that is broken and sorry for sin.
