Pineapple is an international symbol of welcome, hospitality, and friendship. Therefore, I recommend doubling this recipe, inviting over a friend, and celebrating Fiesta Friday together 🙂
Pineapple Orange Oatmeal
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup pineapple tidbits in juice
- 1 orange, peeled and sectioned
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
Directions:
- bring water and pineapple to boil
- stir in oatmeal
- cook approximately five minutes
- transfer to bowl and top with oranges
- eat and enjoy!

There is never a bad time to eat oatmeal; I have been known to get up after midnight and microwave myself a bowl. I hope you enjoy!

I’ve never thought to use citrus in my oatmeal! I love the stuff and will have to remember this one.

Yum! I have never had pineapple on my oatmeal, but it is a brilliant idea! It seems like we have a bit of a theme just out of the gate at this party! Maybe Angie could lend you some pineapple flowers for the oatmeal – that would be delicious too! Happy Fiesta Friday to you! 😀

Don’t be afraid to try something bizarre. One of the tastiest oatmeal recipes I made included peanut butter, Italian dressing, and soy sauce. I would love to for you to try something unique and share it with me!

That sounds like a great oatmeal recipe!!! Actually, I’d forgotten but my sister-in-law is Indonesian and I think they only have savoury porridge (oatmeal) there. She gave it to us with sausages and veg! Sometimes with fish (tuna)! Must remember to do that at home! Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
