Ephesians 2:1-10

Ephesians 2:1-10

grace

Dead in sin,

Entangled therein

By the prince of earthly wealth.

The desires of the mind,

Like the rest of mankind,

Had me focused entirely on self.

But God made a move—

He had nothing to prove—

Yet His mercy and love were great,

So He brought me new life.

You see, grace paid the price.

He altered my dead-end fate.

It was not my own deeds—

No mantra or creed—

I cannot in myself boast.

Now I walk as His creature.

Good works are just features.

God’s glory is what matters most.
