A long drive down some back roads brought us (brother and I) to Two Lights State Park in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. We jogged up a short flight of stairs and stood in awe. Then we skipped down the hill and stood amazed once again.
Despite the breathtaking coastline, Brother and I were perplexed. We walked several trails at Two Lights State Park, but we didn’t see any lighthouses. A glance at the map confirmed that the nearest lighthouse is a five-minute drive from the park entrance.
After a picnic lunch, we explored Fort William Park, which does have 2 lighthouses.
Brother and I were never disappointed with the scenery in Maine.
We enjoyed the beautiful weather and God’s masterful handiwork.
